About the Program
Our program is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages improve their foundational literacy skills. Every component of the program is aligned with the most current science of reading research. The program bridges explicit and systematic phonics instruction to fluency, comprehension, and language development. Our team of experienced literacy coaches and reading interventionists have created differentiated lessons that meet each student at their reading level. This gives striving readers the confidence to embark on their literacy journey and increases student engagement.
Each lesson:

✔️ Encoding practice with Elkonin boxes (phoneme-grapheme mapping) and a dictation sentence

Our K-1 program offers complete lessons with three differentiated decodable passages. As students gain proficiency with decodable text, they are ready for the First and Second Grade Series, which provides less-controlled text that more closely mirrors the text they will see as they become lifelong readers. The most current reading research tells us that beginning readers need exposure to both types of text for optimal reading growth. The First and Second Grade Series also provides three differentiated reading passages with targeted phonics skills but with less-controlled text. The length of the differentiated text in the First Grade Series has been created to provide an easy transition for the reader who has 'graduated' from the K-1 Series. This is also applicable when transitioning from the First Grade Series to the Second Grade Series. There is a continuum longer texts, throughout the program, leading to an increase of reading proficiency and language development. Combining the three Elevating Fluency Series gives teachers six to nine differentiated reading fluency lessons to meet each reader at their level.
